This year saw the debut of Aston Martin’s most technologically innovative convertible. The 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is a stunning piece of work. A mode of transportation truly-worthy of James Bond.

The new model from the luxury sportscar manufacturer is the first fully carbon-fibre skinned Volante. Powered by a monstrous 5.9-liter AM11 V12 engine, the car boasts an acceleration time of 0-100 in just 4.1 seconds, making it the quickest accelerating Volante Aston Martin has ever produced. With a top speed of 183 mph at 565 horsepower we’re already counting down the days, till this British beauty comes to market.

The convertible is installed with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes in the front and 360mm discs at the back, both of which are much lighter than conventional brakes. The three-layer lightweight fabric roof takes just 14 seconds to fold, operating at up to 30 mph. The designers went with a full-length windshield which runs directly up to the cloth top, meaning there’s no carbon fiber header between the glass and the roof.

With a breathtaking body and exquisite interior finish, Aston Martin’s Vanquish Volante is pure eye candy. The car can be tailored within five different color options and material combinations in accordance with your personal style. But with a staggering base price of $300,000, expect to pay for it!
