Corolla-enthusiasts can expect a treat later this year, as Toyota gears-up to release the newly re-designed 2015 Toyota Corolla. The hotly-anticipated sedan sports a new mean and lean look.

Expected to release between September and November of 2014, the new Corolla will reportedly be available in 1.3 and 1.8 liter engines. It will boast a new shape that sees the headlights and front grille perfectly aligned with the Toyota logo bang in the center. But perhaps the best feature of the 2015 model is that it does not sacrifice style for comfort.

Higher, tighter and longer, think of the new Corolla as a cross between the current model and the new Honda City. The car will reportedly pack 132 hp punch and 128 pound-feet of torque, and will be available in L, LE, LE Eco and S editions.

Tricked out, the new model will reportedly feature keyless entry, leather interior, an in-dash DVD player with USB input and a six-speaker surround sound system (to begin with). Sunroof, wooden trimming and the rear-view camera, are just some of the many additional features that will also be made available.

Just six months to go, and the countdown has already begun…
