Electric car company Tesla Motors recently unveiled the ‘Summon Feature’ on its all new Model S. The innovative new tech sees your car automatically come to you from where it’s parked.
As shown in the video above, the car self starts with the push of a ‘summon’ button, and using its rearview camera and park-assist feature guides itself to your location.
Elon Musk, the company’s billionaire Founder & CEO, asserts that by 2018 the Summon Feature will be able to work anywhere — and by that, he does mean anywhere. Musk took to popular micro-blogging site Twitter to say, “In ~2 years, summon should work anywhere connected by land & not blocked by borders, eg you’re in LA and the car is in NY.”
