Seth McFarlane is behind the creation of one of the most funniest gross-out animated comedy series ‘Family Guy’. He also made his mark in Hollywood by voicing a walking, talking cuddly teddy bear in the self-directed live-action comedy ‘Ted’ that starred Mark Wahlberg. According to Entertainment Weekly, it surpassed ‘The Hangover’ as the highest grossing original R-rated film of all time. After the tremendous success of the original, Wahlberg and MacFarlane return this year in ‘Ted 2’.Jessica Barth returns as Tami-Lynn and Amanda Seyfried joins the cast as an attorney representing Ted.
‘Ted 2’ sees our favorite talking stuffed bear get married to his sweetheart Tami-Lynn. Complications happen when the couple decides to have a family. Since Ted would be unable to have children with Tami-Lynn, they decide to seek a sperm donor. Hilarity ensues as Ted has to prove in court that he is an actual person before he could be a parent.
According to IMDb, this is Wahlberg’s first time he has appeared in a sequel to a film he previously starred in. Mila Klunis who played his girlfriend Laurie did not return due to conflicts with ‘Jupiter Ascending’. At the time, she was also pregnant with her child with former ‘That 70s Show’ co-star Ashton Kutcher.
A host of Hollywood stars will make appearances in the film including Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, David Hasselhoff as well as NFL quarterback Tom Brady. Actors from the hit television series ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ Nana Visitor and Michael Dorn have also been cast. Seyfriend previously starred with Neeson and McFarlane in ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’.
‘Ted 2’ looks to be one of the hottest comedies of the year. Get ready to be completely entertained when our favorite bear takes to the big screen once again on June 26, 2015.
