Ninja Theory has been behind some of the best video games in recent years such as ‘Devil May Cry DMC’, ‘Heavenly Sword’ and ‘Enslaved: Odyssey of the West’. Considering how awesome these titles were, gaming fans are now looking forward to the hotly-anticipated ‘Hellblade’. According to PC Gamer, it is a timed exclusive on the PlayStation 4 and will be released on the PC as well. For those who do not know ‘timed-exclusives’, it means that the title will be exclusive to the PS4 for a limited time before it is released on other consoles like the Xbox One.

If you own a high-end PC then you are in luck as the PC version will have a few extra bells and whistles than the PS4 version. According to Examiner, Ninja Theory is looking to add Mod support and 4K resolution. No release date of the title is known as yet.

Due to the PC being an open platform, it is not confined to the limitations on consoles. For example, game modding has been very popular on the PC for years. Examiner quoted Ninja Theory’s creative head Tameem Antoniades saying, “Consoles (Xbox One and PS4) are following suit with PC, but I think they’re years behind what things like Steam are doing. If we want to do an open beta right now, it’s a little bit trickier to do that than on PC. Playtesting is a huge thing for us. Usability testing, getting people hands-on to try things out, get feedback, then roll that back in and improve the game… it’s always been essential for us to do that.”

Ninja Theory will be releasing the title as an independent studio and is hoping to open it to gamers to get community feedback. By incorporating appropriate feedback, ‘Hellblade’ could possibly be the ultimate title for gamers by gamers!
