Android fans who miss the good old-fashioned keyboard just got a reason to celebrate. Now available for pre-order the ‘Priv’, is Blackberry’s way of announcing they’ve once again stepped onto the battlefield.

Blackberry continues its legacy with the physical QWERTY keypad; just over time mated with an Android OS. But with a sexy curved screen and high-end specs, this has to be the most exciting phone Blackberry’s brought to market in years.

Let’s cut to the chase, shall we?

Priv puts a serious focus on privacy and comes pre-installed with a new DTEK warning system app. It also features Gorilla Glass 4, which should keep it from breaking easily, while maintaining brightness for outdoor readability.

With BlackBerry hardware and Android software, the Priv stands buttoned up with hardly any direct rivals. Though to name a few nearly-qualifying competitors, Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge, Motorola’s X Style and LG’s G4 could make the cut.

Blackberry’s Priv is priced between Rs. 70,000 – 75,000.
