Adorned with a design commemorating the sacrifices of martyrs, and the achievements of the chivalrous soldiers participating in Pakistan’s biggest onslaught against terrorism, the Operation Zarb-e-Azb, a PAF C-130 aircraft attracted the most attention and admiration.

At the 2016 Royal International Air Tattoo Show held in Fairford, Gloucestershire, PAF’s Hercules C-130 stole the show, and won the prestigious Concours d’Elegance trophy. This is the second time Pakistan’s Air Force has won the honour, the first in 2006.

The Royal International Air Tattoo Show is one of the most prominent events in the military calendar in the UK. In this year’s competition, over 200 aircrafts from 50 countries from around the world participated, but the PAF C-130, with its beautiful theme celebrating the magnificent patriotism of bravehearts who put country before self, was the rightful winner.
