Decades after his death Tag Heuer’s Monaco is still synonymous with Hollywood legend Steve McQueen. The ‘King of Cool’ used the watch to accessorize his character in the 1971 classic film ‘Le Mans’. Though that particular model has since been discontinued, you can now celebrate the legacy with the Tag Heuer Monaco Reissue.
When it first launched back in 1969, the Monaco was one of the most revolutionary watches available in the market, with advanced tech like the Chronomatic Calibre 11, the first automatic chronograph movement.
The new Monaco Reissue not only shares the same Calibre 11 movement, but also the same 39mm square case, 6 o’clock date window, vintage Tag Heuer logo and the same water-resistance as the original.
