Hold on to your haute couture… According to the latest reports, high end fashion house Maison Martin Margiela has a new Creative Director — British bad boy and former Dior frontman John Galliano.

According to BBC World, the 53-year-old talented designer has taken on this challenging new role at the famed fashion house after a brief stint at Oscar de La Renta and a Russian perfumery chain.

The outspoken, artistic designer’s fifteen-year career at Christian Dior ended after he was found guilty of using anti-Semitic insults in public, in a drunken state. Galliano had since kept a low profile, but is now back in the game as the recently-appointed Creative Director at Margiela.

According to Vogue, Renzo Russo, the Italian entrepreneur and President of OTB, the Parent company of Maison Martin Margiela made the announcement earlier, for the design house’s Haute Couture line.

Let’s see how the British bad boy of fashions’ vision fuses with that of the famed Parisian fashion house.
