It’s been a pretty good year for cars, no? We saw Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini finally embrace hybrid technology. We saw the successful production of the World’s first 3D-printed car. We saw the launch of the newly redesigned Toyota Corolla. And now, we bear witness to the debut of the all-new 2014 Honda City.

If the City had a slogan, it would be ‘More Bang for Your Buck!’ Already one of the country’s bestselling vehicles, the City has become an institution in Pakistan from when it first debuted nearly three decades ago. Sharing the accolade with its older brother the Honda Civic and their Toyota rival the Corolla, the City has been able to create a market for itself, fending off all competition.

But enough about the history, let’s get to the mystery… The newly-redesigned Honda City will be available later this month in either a 1.3 or 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine. Dubbed by PakWheels as ‘The Most Fuel Efficient Car’ around, the new shape features upgraded bumpers, reshaped rear lights, a chrome grill, keyless entry and even an integrated tuner.

According to Honda Pakistan’s official Facebook page, “Keeping in view the vulnerable economic pressures, Honda realized the need to bring a refreshed model to give a new feel to customer with no price increase highlighting the concept ‘So much more for nothing more’”.

Additional options will include: body-colored mud flaps, leather interior, alloy rims, fog lamps, navigation and a rear-view camera.

I suppose the only real question is… What color do we get?
