According to NDTV, British luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce welcomed its two millionth Facebook fan this week, who is from India.

India ranks top with the highest number of Rolls Royce fans, followed by Pakistan in second place and the United States in third. In a personal post on the popular social network Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls Royce Motors, thanked the company’s fans for their continued support and promised only good things to come.

“Thank you to each and every one of you who has helped us reach a landmark two million fans. Through Facebook we can share sneak previews, bespoke insights and captivating stories from the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars with you, wherever you are in the world.”

The BMW-owned luxury carmaker revealed record sales for 2013 and is adding jobs to all its manufacturing sites. Muller-Otvos has been with the Rolls-Royce Group for more than 20 years. Prior to this he held various management positions in the sales and marketing division and was instrumental in the brand and product management for MINI.

Muller-Otvos is credited with successfully re-launching the MINI brand and establishing MINI as the first ‘premium’ car in the small car category.
