Antro Group, a Hungarian non-profit company focusing on the development of eco-friendly vehicles, is getting ready to introduce the MOVEO scooter to market.
This small and stylish scooter can be fully charged in just an hour, but travels at a maximum speed of just 35 km/h. The MOVEO motorbike performs slightly better with a top speed of 45km/h. The MOVEO features two brake wheel discs, both with in-built motors in the tires.
Though MOVEO’s performance specs are nothing to brag about, what is amazing is that this eco-friendly vehicle requires no parking space as motorists can simply fold it up and drag it along much like a rolling suitcase.
Whereas XOR’s folding e-scooters are quite heavy, MOVEO’s carbon composite body weighs a mere 25kg. Also, manufacturers have made sure folding is quick and easy and that its dirty underside is neatly tucked inside, so as not to sully riders. Unlike Nimrod Sapir’s MyWay compact scooter which also folds but has no seat, the MOVEO features a roomy comfortable seat atop the chassis.
According to the latest reports, if Antro Group is able to secure the funding the scooter will be available to consumers as early as next year. Antro Group CEO Tamás Slezák says the MOVEO will be priced between $3,000 – $5,000 depending on demand.
If approved by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA), the scooter can also be taken along on vacations giving motorists the freedom to travel freely, and in style!
