With Japanese auto giant Honda staying firmly tight-lipped on the matter, the internet is abuzz with rumors surrounding the unveiling of the hotly-anticipated 2015 Honda S2000.

One of Honda’s most successful models to date, the S2000 is a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder roadster that first debuted in 1999. Dubbed the ‘Beast from the East’, the S2000 was Honda’s “intermediate” roadster between the Honda Integra and the NSX, Honda’s answer to the Toyota Supra and Nissan Skyline.

If rumors are to be believed, the 2015 Honda S2000 will feature a “prominent front grille, aggressive headlights and an elegant rear”. The two-seater sports car is also rumored to be released in both a petrol and hybrid option based on Honda’s CR-Z, though the S2000 will undoubtedly be enhanced for maximum efficiency and power output.

Though any further details have yet-to-be confirmed, the car when released, will fall between the $30,000 – $40,000 price bracket (depending on options) and the hope is, will release sometime soon!
