If the standard four-wheel, Land Rover Defender didn’t quite get your vote of confidence, this six-wheel she-Hulk is sure to fulfill your criteria of perfection.
In response to Land Rover’s decision earlier this year, to stop building the Defender, British firm A Kahn Design has created the ultimate off-road monster — The Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6×6. Priced at an eye-watering $193,000 this is probably the closest Land Rover’s ever going to get to a limo.
|Engine size:||2.2-litre (with the option for 6.2-litre V8 diesel engine)|
|Top speed:||130 mph|
|Number of wheels:||6|
|Wheel size:||18 inches|
A heavy-duty structure, reinforced suspension and braking, hi-low ratio drive system and locking differentials ensure the Huntsman is more than just a barbarous show car. A Kahn Design is on a mission to sell around 25 of these beauties a-year and give its rival, the $572,000 Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 a run for its money.
