It happens all-too often… Watch enough episodes of ‘Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Sath’ or ‘Kharra Such with Mubasher Lucman’ and all of a sudden, you’re an ‘expert’ on Pakistani politics.
Such was the case with self-professed Fulbright Scholar from Pakistan, Ehtisham. In a 6-minute video that was uploaded to YouTube, the student at Penn State University makes the mistake of rejecting a panel speakers observations as “selective” and accusing her of not presenting both sides of the narrative.
In this case the panel speaker happens to be Dr. Christine Fair, PhD and associate professor at the Center for Peace and Security Studies at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is also a widely acclaimed author of numerous books on militant forces in Pakistan and their repercussions in Kashmir.
Cool as a cucumber, Fair listens to all his observations, writing notes the whole time he is talking before composing herself to respond. Then, she takes him back to school and we warn you now, it’s brutal!
Watch the absolutely cringe-worthy video above.
