Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson branded Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather as “very delusional” after the latter rated himself better than Muhammad Ali.
‘Money’ claimed he would go down as the greatest boxer in history, sweeping aside legends like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson – who fired back in brutal fashion.
“He’s very delusional,” Tyson was quoted saying. “Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself. OK, he can’t take his kids to school by himself, and he’s talking about he’s great? Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people. It’s being accepted by the people. He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself. He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small, scared man.”
It’s no secret Tyson has previously had beef with the Moneyman and when asked about a potential street fight with him in his prime, told GQ magazine, “[I would] kick Floyd’s a**e… there wouldn’t even be no match.”
Iron Mike put his rivalry aside though when he admitted that if he were the same size as Floyd Mayweather he would end up losing the fight.
“[If] I was his size in the ring, he would outpoint me.”
