Last week saw Kim Kardashian’s brazen effort to ‘break the internet’ with a semi-nude photograph baring her deluxe derrière appearing on the cover of Paper Magazine’s winter issue. This week, the Kardashian has something special in-store for fans of ‘Bigg Boss’, – India’s version of Big Brother – according to The Hindustan Times, a spokesman for the TV channel Colors confirmed that Kim will be making a guest appearance on the show on 22nd November.
Andre Timmins, director of Wizcraft International Entertainment – the Mumbai-based production company behind Bigg Boss, which also helped in bringing Kim Kardashian onboard – said, “It gives us great pleasure to welcome and facilitate Kim Kardashian’s maiden visit to India. We are confident that our country and its people will play excellent hosts to this international superstar.”
Negotiations with Kim Kardashian are currently in their infant stages, and the channel did not confirm whether she will be entering as a contestant or as a guest. They are also unsure about the duration of her stay. Colors, however, released a statement from the celebrity on her upcoming visit: “Namaste India… main Kim Kardashian aa rahi hoon… Bigg Boss ke ghar mein.”
The 34-year-old American TV sensation is on a world tour to promote Fleur Fatale, the latest addition in her line of perfumes. Kim is globetrotting alone, leaving behind her rap star husband Kanye West and 17-month-old daughter North West. She has often found herself at the center of controversies, including a leaked sex tape with musician Ray J, and a high profile divorce with basketball player Kris Humphries, after just 72 days of marriage.
Hosted by King of Bollywood Salman Khan, the eighth and current season of ‘Bigg Boss’ has 12 remaining contestants, namely: Karishma Tanna, Diandra Soares, Gautam Gulati, Puneet Issar, Upen Patel, Pritam Singh, Praneet Bhatt, Sonali Raut, Nigaar Khan, Dimpy Ganguly Mahajan, Renee Dhyani and Ali Quli Mirza.
