Luis Suarez was one of Premier League’s brightest stars last season. Everytime he would step on the pitch in a Liverpool jersey, one would expect him to score. The Uruguayan sensation scored 31 goals beating out all other strikers in the process. It was through his valuable goals that the Reds managed a closely fought title race with Manchester City. In the end, they came second and earned a chance to compete in the UEFA Champions League this season. Unfortunately for the Reds fans. Suarez bid farewell and went off to Barcelona for a reported £75 million last summer. Would you believe he would return to the Premier League again after just one season?

If you were Arsene Wenger, that might hold true. According to Eurosport, the Barcelona forward is a target for the Frenchman. It was in summer of 2013, when he infamously bid £40 million and one pound to secure Suarez’s services from Liverpool. At that time, Suarez was very interested in a move away from Anfield, but the bids did not interest the Liverpool hierarchy. If rumors are to be believed, then Wenger may finally get his man and a sensational offer seems to be on the cards. It would also mean that he would have to bid a lot higher than the reported £42.5 million the Gunners paid to acquire Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.

Suarez has not been able to fully replicate his stunning form that he had at Liverpool. Despite helping out his team-mates to score goals, he has only scored two in eleven league appearances. Although a sizeable offer would tempt the Catalans, it seems doubtful that the former PFA Player of the Year winner would move back to England after a season. It all depends on how badly Wenger really wants Suarez.
