Universal Picture’s latest biopic, ‘Steve Jobs’ is having a nightmare of a time at the Box Office. Rather unexpectedly, the film debuted at No. 7 on its opening weekend with a lackluster performance of just $7.3 million.

Cult of Mac reports the film is performing so badly that people ‘just aren’t showing up’. Can you believe it? And with Box Office figures further plummeting, the film has reportedly been pulled from more than 2000 cinema screens worldwide.

The good news, however, is that despite its poor run, critics have lauded director Danny Boyle’s efforts. According to Rotten Tomatoes, 85% of critics rated the film as ‘fresh’, and applauded Michael Fassbender’s performance in the titular role.
