Heartthrob Fawad Khan has been donning headlines for the past couple of weeks. Pakistan’s latest export to India is ‘so hot right now’ that his fan following seems to be growing bigger, day by day. But it appears the singer, model and actor is a bit of a ‘groupie’ himself… During a promotional interview for his upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Khoobsurat’, the versatile talent expressed his admiration for veteran Bollywood talent Rekha, and was even quoted saying “Rekha is the embodiment of sexiness.”
Of course, most men are of the same opinion… The evergreen Bollywood actress has not let her age get the best of her, and is as mesmerizing today as she was two decades ago. So, thank you Fawad for pointing out the obvious.
Khan is well on his way to becoming Pakistan’s newest sex symbol. The 32-year-old star has had quite the career. Starting off as lead vocalist for the band EP, he eventually became one of the most sought-after actors after lead roles in Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Khuda Kay Liye’ and the smash-hit drama serial ‘Humsafar’.
Khan continued his television success with hits like ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’, and has since featured in several high-profile advertisements. He also starred in the remake of the 1960’s Lollywood classic ‘Armaan’ opposite Aamina Sheikh.
We’re quite looking forward to his performance in ‘Khoobsurat’. Starring opposite Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor, the film is said to be a remake of the 1980’s blockbuster that starred Ashok Kumar and Fawad’s very own Bollywood crush, Rekha.
The film’s supporting cast includes Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Husain, and is slated for release on September 19th.
