Marvel is gearing up for the second film in the successful Avengers franchise with the release of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. Recent production photos show a new suit for Iron Man, immortalized on the big-screen by versatile talent Robert Downey Jr.
Downey Jr. is set to reprise his iconic ‘Iron Man’ role and will be donning the new armor in the upcoming sequel. The new suit reportedly has more of a red tint than the gold seen in the previous ‘Avengers’ and ‘Iron Man’ films. However, the suit still resembles the Mark XII armor worn by Tony Stark in ‘Iron Man 3’.
Marvel’s first ‘Avengers’ film was a blockbuster hit with an arsenal of good and bad guys from the comics. Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Hawkeye all lit-up the screen with special effects, explosions and even cheesy humor.
‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ looks to follow-up on the box office success of the original, and is slated for release on May 1st, 2015.
