Imagine two of the biggest sub-continent film idols coming together to change our casting dreams into reality. The man who triggered Lollywood’s revival, Shoaib Mansoor, has now reportedly cast Kareena Kapoor Khan for his upcoming film.
After producing a box office hit like Bajrangi Bhaijan alongside Salman Khan, Kareena has signed a film which will be directed by Pakistani director, Shoaib Mansoor. Being the brains behind several Pakistani hit films including Bol and Khuda Kay Liye, the director has offered a role to Kareena after she tweeted her interest in collaborating with the director.
The collaboration is going to be a woman-centric film with Krishika Lulla as the producer, according to Indian reports. The B-Town actress expressed her admiration for Shoaib Mansoor’s work through her tweet,
“I really want to work with him. He has made some fantastic content driven films and is a wonderful filmmaker”
Bebo has worked for over a decade with Bollywood’s megastars and reportedly wants to break out of her shell and experiment. Let’s see if this much-awaited collaboration takes the Pakistani film industry by storm or only makes waves.
