After appearing in just a single Bollywood film, beloved Pakistani actor Fawad Khan now reportedly ranks fifth among the top ‘Liked’ actors in Bollywood, according to the TIMES Celebex .

TIMES Celebex claims to be the most robust and factual ratings index for Bollywood celebrities, based on comprehensive data and hard facts rather than the subjective perception of a jury alone. Calculated on a month-to-month basis, the index is dynamic and hence a current measure of a celebrity’s power as opposed to any other one-time report.

An actors’ ‘T Score’ is calculated by measuring various parameters ranging from Box Office performance, to PR buzz, to online following and more; based on their popularity, performance and visibility.

Some basic trend analysis shows that Mr. Khan was absent from the rankings in June of this year, before his Bollywood-debut film ‘Khoobsurat’ started to generate all that pre-screening buzz. But, as news of the Pakistani heartthrob starring opposite Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor broke, we witnessed him jumping onto the charts in July at number 34, already ahead of Bollywood pseudo-veteran Ali Zafar (#48), who claims to have an avid Bollywood fan base.

Come September, we saw Fawad riding high on the success of ‘Khoobsurat’; leaping from #26 back in August straight to number five, behind Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and the numero uno undisputed King of Bollywood Salman Khan. The top five females are lead by Priyanka Chopra at number one followed by Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.

At the end of the day these ranking are merely glorified speculations, we can only hope this No. 5 spot that Fawad has earned will help move in a positive direction.
