Despite the release of ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ still a good two years away, the hotly-anticipated superhero film continues to don headlines. Every now and then, fans are treated to little snippets and revelations be it a sneak peak of the new Batmobile or Batsuit, or new casting announcements like the inclusion of Wonder Woman played by Israeli bombshell Gal Gadot, Aquaman played by Jason Momoa and Lex Luthor played by versatile talent Jesse Eisenberg.
Well folks, hope you’re ready for some more because according to Latino-Review.com, four additional ‘rumored’ villains will feature in the highly-awaited sequel to Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel’. Casting is not yet known, but the four antagonists alleged to appear include:
One of the lesser known members of Batman’s rogue gallery, Victor Zsasz is set to make his big-screen debut after a cameo in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Batman Begins’. If reports are to be believed, serial killer Zsaz is one of the first bad guys to face the caped crusader earlier on in Gotham City. In the comics, he has been known to take out innocent people with a knife, leaving marks on his body to keep track of the body count.
Edge is reportedly a corrupt individual working as Lex Luthor’s right-hand man and Public Relations guru. His first appearance in the film is in an interview with Amy Adams who plays Superman’s love interest Lois Lane. Both Edge and his boss Luthor were part of the most infamous gang originating from Hob’s Bay.
The Dark Knight and Man of Steel may have met their match in David Cain, known as one of ‘world’s deadliest assassins’. Cain, a man in his 50s, is supposed to work with Lex Luthor’s bodyguard Mercy Graves to plot an assassination. An assassination of whom though, we have to wait to find out…
